Red Robin Pantry specialises in bespoke buttercream wedding cakes, handmade confectionery and patisserie. 

It was set up by Debbie, a former conservation biologist, blending her creative artistic side with her love of baking and, of course, nature. When it comes to wedding cakes, her main signature styles are hand-painted buttercream and nature-inspired edible flower cakes. One of her favourite things is experimenting with unusual flavours and she now offers 21 scrumptious flavours for you to choose between, from a simple vanilla sponge to something a little more unusual, such as red wine velvet or green tea, pistachio and rose water.

Four generous layers of sponge are sandwiched together with a choice of rich and velvety Italian meringue buttercream or finest Belgian chocolate ganache, and complementing preserve where appropriate.

Last year Debbie was joined by Mike, himself a keen cook and baker as well as a former zoologist. With backgrounds in ecology, Debbie and Mike at the Red Robin Pantry in Falmouth feel very strongly when it comes to minimising their impact on our world, so sustainability is one of the cornerstones of their luxurious baking business.

They aim to use only ingredients that are organic, fair trade and sustainable. And when it comes to decorating cakes with real flowers, they only use home-grown edible and food-safe flowers or those sourced from local edible flower growers.
